Get Cooking! Italia

'Get Cooking! Italia' was my final project of my masters degree at GSA. I would have assumed that my last project would be philosophical, but I decided to pursue something light-hearted, fun, and universal: food. The work was titled and made in collaboration with the culinary content creator Stefano Gilotti. His easy-to-follow videos demonstrate how to prepare an array of Italian dishes whilst providing historical and regional insights.

I designed a selection of mascots that embodied staple Italian foodstuffs: pizza, pasta and wine. These characters included Romanesque wine-drinking skeletons, pizza-loving grim reapers and alarm clocks made from a variety of pastas. These were printed onto t-shirts, tote bags and even pizza boxes.
